Account & Profile

How do I create an account?

Download Buddy from the App Store or Google Play and create an account using an available authentication method.

You may be required to verify your email address.

How do I edit my profile?

Go to:

You can update available profile information, interests, activities and preferences.

How do I change my preferences?

Go to your profile settings and update your discovery or matching preferences.

Your preferences help Buddy personalize discovery and recommendations.

How do I delete my account?

Discover & Nearby

What is Nearby?

Nearby helps you discover people around your area who may have similar interests, activities or intentions.

Buddy does not intend to publicly display your precise location to other users.

Why does Buddy need my location?

Messaging allows connected users to communicate through Buddy.

Use messaging responsibly and follow the Community Guidelines.

Can I block someone?

Yes.

You can block users you do not want to interact with.

How do I report a message or user?

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you purchased through Apple or Google, manage your subscription through the relevant platform.

Deleting your Buddy account does not necessarily cancel your subscription.
