You can permanently delete your Buddy account.

What happens when you delete your account?

Buddy will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information associated with your account, including, where applicable:

Because Buddy contains User-Generated Content, account deletion should also address content associated with the account.

Apple specifically states that account deletion should include associated User-Generated Content such as photos, video and text posts, subject to lawful retention requirements.

Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account

Delete Through the Website

The web deletion page should provide a direct, accessible mechanism for initiating account deletion.

Google Play requires apps with account creation to provide account deletion both inside the app and through an external web resource.

Subscription

Deleting your Buddy account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the applicable App Store or Google Play subscription management system.

Apple specifically requires developers to make the relationship between account deletion and active subscriptions clear to users.

After Deletion

After deletion, you may not be able to recover:
